Japanese indoor costume 1920s
These prints are made at our location in Seattle, WA. They have a thick, white backing board and are sealed in clear bags. Each is suitable for framing at 11 inches x 14 inches or can be used as is for wall display. Our goal is to bring back to life these wonderful illustrations from old-fashioned, children'sbooks and from early advertising art.
This outfit appeared in a very elegant publication, colored by pochior, called Les Succes d'A.G.B., Revue d'art des plus Belles Modes de Paris. This note accompanied the illustration:
A Japanese indoor costume made of Valdor satin, black with a a new shade of red. This garment can be advantageously worn instead of pyjamas, which are not so easy to carry off gracefully and are also a trifle bold.
