"These prints are made at our location in Seattle, WA. They have a thick, white backing board and are sealed in clear bags. Each is suitable for framing at 11 inches x 14 inches or can be used as is for wall display. Our goal is to bring back to life these wonderful illustrations from old-fashioned, children'sbooks and from early advertising art.
This fashion plate appeared in a very 'haute couture' publication entitled 'Art et Beaute' published in Paris and New York. The plates were colored by pochoir, many of them tipped-in. The clothes were described as follows:
(left) CocktailBeige A.G.B.(presumably Art Go Beaute) Danabas crepe de chine afternoon dress trimmed with leaf-ribs to match. Duillet (center) SoriaAfternoon dress of chiffon with small multicoloured printed flowers. Worth (right) HendayeSporting tailor-made; shaded woollen material. Doucet"
