Our greeting cards are custom printed at our location in Seattle, WA. They come bagged with an envelope. We love illustration art from old children's books and early, printed ephemera. These cards reflect this interest in bringing delightful art back to life.
This illustration of two women appareled for the dance appeared in a 1927 edition a very 'haute couture' publication entitled 'Art et Beaute' published in Paris and New York. The plates were colored by pochoir, many of them tipped-in.
These two dresses have been named for popular dances of the day, and described as follows:
