Richard Kehl is an artist, a teacher, an anthropologist and a collector of resonant images. He has gathered here a group of pictures of women which are meant to evoke the spirit of the feminine and which he sees as an embodiment of wholeness and grace. A few, select quotations supplement his tribute.
Kehl says of this book that it is an essay on the feminine, composed almost entirely of pictures. Looking at it one enters a special world, a world in which meaning is revealed by the interplay of images.
