This joyful, cape-clad girl is ready to skate in with a happy birthday message! Frances Tipton Hunter created this image for the cover of March 1927's Woman's Home Companion, and now she's one of our most popular images! See this image on a greeting card AND as an art print!

Frances Tipton Hunter (1896-1957) found her artistic calling early on, illustrating children's fashion in art school. She had a penchant for watercolor and a deep love for portraying children and pets in her art. Her popularity soared in the 1920s when she introduced beloved paper dolls in magazines. Her work graced the covers of popular magazines such as The Saturday Evening Post, Woman's Home Companion, and Good Housekeeping. However, her true claim to fame came in the post-World War II years when she became the era's most renowned and best-selling calendar artist. Hunter's art, filled with innocence and nostalgia, particularly in depicting children, has left an enduring legacy in illustration.

Our line of Fan Favorite Notebooks features rounded edges and a sewn binding. The back covers contain helpful information in a vintage style, including the multiplication table and various measurement tables.
