We vary the contents of these frequently, but all customers who order from us get a little present and a bite of chocolate included in their order. We do it because we want you to know that we think you are special and could use a little treat now and then.

By the way, Wikipedia defines "lagniappe" this way: A lagniappe (/ˈlænjæp/ LAN-yap, /lænˈjæp/ lan-YAP) is "a small gift given to a customer by a merchant at the time of a purchase" (such as a 13th doughnut on purchase of a dozen), or more broadly, "something given or obtained gratuitously or by way of good measure."

The word entered English from the Louisiana French adapting a Quechua word brought in to New Orleans by the Spanish Creoles.

Both of these customer gifts include a bookmark, a notebook and a chocolate treat.

You can learn more about, the notebooks shown in the pictures, or purchase, the notebooks are for sale here >
