We have a number of examples of the work of the marvelous French Art Deco designer, M.P. Verneuil in the Darling Family Archive. We have used his beautiful book "Etude de la Plante" as a source for the cards and prints we call, "Art in Bloom." This book explores ways in which the natural forms of plants can be used in design. This was a favorite enthusiasm of Art Nouveau, and such designers as Verneuil began in an Art Nouveau style and carried it over into the early Art Deco period of the early 20th century.
