Pierre Brissaud (1885–1964) was a prominent French Art Deco illustrator, painter, and engraver. He was born in Paris and received artistic training at the École des Beaux-Arts and the Atelier Fernand Cormon in Montmartre. Renowned for his pochoir (stencil) prints in the fashion magazine Gazette du Bon Ton, he captured realistic leisure scenes of the well-to-do, often showcasing designs from Parisian fashion houses like Jeanne Lanvin and Chéruit. His illustrations graced the pages of prestigious publications like Vogue and House & Garden and literary works such as Madame Bovary and Manon Lescaut. His artistic journey included exhibitions at the Salon des Indépendants and the Salon d'Automne, solidifying his place in the vibrant artistic landscape of early 20th-century Paris.
