Description

Morning by Maxfield Parrish, often referred to as Morning (Spring), is a dreamy oil painting that exudes a sense of serenity and beauty. It gained recognition as the cover illustration for the Easter edition of Life Magazine on April 6, 1922. With his signature "girls on rocks" theme, Parrish captures the essence of ethereal beauty. The woman in the painting perches upon a rocky outcrop amidst majestic mountains, her hair elegantly tied back. Clothed in a white wrap adorned with a golden tassel belt reminiscent of Classical Greek style, she gazes longingly toward the heavens. See this image on a greeting card!
