Roger Broders (1883-1953) was a prolific French poster artist renowned for his stunning travel and tourism posters during the Golden Age of Travel. Born in Paris, Broders began his career as a painter and later shifted his focus to graphic design. He joined the Compagnie des Chemins de fer Paris-Lyon-Méditerranée (PLM) in 1922 as their official poster artist, creating captivating artworks to promote the company's various destinations. Broders' unique artistic style was marked by bold colors, striking composition, and a keen eye for capturing the essence of each location. His posters became emblematic of the era, and his artistic legacy continues to inspire and delight art enthusiasts and travelers alike!
