Welcome to My Treehouse! - Children Art Print
We love treehouses of all sorts! Whether they serve as playhouses, animal abodes, or any other fanciful variety, they're highly coveted by those without and beloved by those lucky enough to have one. This lovely scene was created by Inez Topham for a children's reader in the 1920s. See our entire Let's Play Collection!
Inez Topham (1885-1959) was a notable illustrator and printmaker who studied under Reginald Bush at the Bristol School of Art. Her remarkable skill was recognized in 1907 when she became the first provincial student to secure the prestigious British Institute scholarship for etching. While details of her life remain sparse, her artistic legacy endures through her charming illustrations of children, which graced the pages of various books, popular magazines, and periodicals.
