Henry F. Wireman (1877-1931), an American artist known for his illustrations and magazine cover art, remains somewhat enigmatic. While his contributions to popular magazines are notable, little else is known about his life. Interestingly, more information is available about his wife, Katharine Richardson Wireman, who was also an artist and one of Howard Pyle's students at the Drexel Institute of Art, Science, and Industry. Eugenie M. Wireman, an artist herself and Henry's sister, played a pivotal role as a matchmaker in this artistic circle!
