Clara Miller Burd (1873–1933) stands as an esteemed American artist, celebrated not only for her enchanting illustrations during the Golden Age of Illustration but also for her remarkable contributions to stained glass art. For a period, she served as a designer at the Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company, and her work in this medium still adorns the windows of stately churches across America! In addition to her accomplishments in stained glass, like many artists of her era, she illustrated children's books and magazine covers for popular publications.
