Molly Brett (1902–1990), an English illustrator and children's literature writer, is celebrated for her anthropomorphic artwork. Raised amidst the lush landscapes of Surrey, her upbringing under the tutelage of her mother, Mary Gould Brett, a renowned animal painter, set her on her life's path. After formal art education, she collaborated with the Medici Society of London for over six decades. She produced many enchanting illustrations, adorning postcards, greeting cards, and prints. Inspired by fellow illustrators like Margaret Tarrant, her close friend, Brett's artwork, marked by meticulous details and subtle hues, resonates with people across time.
