A.M. Cassandre (1901-1968), born Adolphe Jean-Marie Mouron, was a prominent French graphic designer, painter, and poster artist, known for his exceptional contributions to the Art Deco movement. Among his best-known masterpieces are the innovative travel posters he created for various transportation companies. Additionally, Cassandre's famous Dubo – Dubon – Dubonnet poster showcased his mastery of typographic design and introduced the concept of the Serial Poster—a group of posters that conveys a whole interesting idea through rapid succession. He's also notable for his design of the iconic Yves Saint Laurent logo!
