Baby With Cherry Blossoms - Baby Greeting Card
INSIDE GREETING: Congratulations on the new arrival.
Welcome a new little one to the family with this serene scene of a springtime nap under a blossoming branch. Adolf Zábransky created it, presumably from a children's book. It's perfect for welcoming a baby any time of the year, not just in spring! See our entire New Baby Card Collection!
Adolf Zábransky (1909-1981) was a Czech painter, graphic artist, and illustrator. Notably, he was a member of two creative arts unions: the Mánes Association of Fine Artists and the Union of Czechoslovak Artists, which provided support and exhibition opportunities for artists. These organizations also served as community engagement and collaboration hubs. While he is celebrated primarily in his native Czech Republic and the former territories of Bohemia, he's known best for his children's book illustrations and decorations adorning the Hrzánský Palace in Prague. Recognizing his outstanding contributions to the field, he was named the National Artist for Illustration in Czechoslovakia in 1972.
