This stork delivering a welcome message was commissioned by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in the late 1930s with the message "Expecting? Get the right advice from the right sources, your doctor or health bureau." It was a no-brainer for us to adapt it into a card to welcome a new baby to a family.
