Albert Ernest Kennedy (1883-1963), professionally known as A.E. Kennedy, hailed from Leyton, London. He was the elder brother of the noted flower painter Cecil Kennedy. Beyond these details, little is known about him. However, he left behind many children's books and postcard illustrations featuring adorable animals frolicking about.
