Max Ponty (1904-1972) was a French illustrator and graphic designer renowned for his iconic poster art of the 1930s. He is best known for his advertising art for Maritime Co, promotional materials for tourism destinations, and designing the enduring logo for Gitanes, a French cigarette brand. Despite limited biographical details, he remains a significant figure in Art Deco-era illustration.
