Bernhardt Wall (1872-1956), known as the "Postcard King," was a prolific American postcard illustrator and lithographer active during the early 20th century. His enduring artistic legacy is primarily tied to his immense contribution to the world of vintage postcards. His postcards featured a wide range of themes: his popular Sunbonnet Babies comic scenes, patriotism during WWI, American history, and the imagery of the American West. His postcards, which numbered in the thousands, offered a nostalgic glimpse into the American past and originals are highly valued by collectors today!
