It's a compilation of popular stories from the Tiny Tots series of the era. We simply adore animals in fancy attire, don't you? Angusine Jeanne (A.J.) Macgregor (1879-1961), born in the enchanting landscapes of Scotland, was the sixth daughter in a bustling household. Simultaneously studying art, she supported herself as a housekeeper at the Scottish Women's Hospital. Macgregor's artistic talents flourished, particularly in the realm of children's literature. Her illustrations often featured charming anthropomorphic animals, particularly bunnies, and her most renowned work can be found in the pages of Five Little Kittens. Notably, she was a valued contributor to Ladybird Books, an imprint of Wills & Hepworth. Her work continues to captivate young readers to this day!
