The Chaplin Revue was a 1959 single feature-length film comprising three silent short comedies made by Charlie Chaplin: A Dog's Life (1918), Shoulder Arms (1918), and The Pilgrim (1923). All three shorts featured his iconic character, The Tramp, and included a soundtrack to appeal to modern audiences, as well as a personal introduction by Chaplin himself. Additionally, each short included extra footage from World War I to provide context. The film was a great hit internationally, as evidenced by this French poster for the grand re-release.
