Harrison Cady (1877-1970) was an American illustrator and children's book author best known for his Peter Rabbit comic strip, which he both wrote and drew for 28 years! His work is characterized by whimsical and expressive illustrations. Cady gained widespread recognition for his long-running collaboration with author Thornton W. Burgess, creating vivid illustrations for numerous children's books featuring animal characters. His ability to breathe life into anthropomorphic animals and depict the beauty of the natural world resonated with generations of readers, making his illustrations an integral part of classic storytelling.
