Deco Flower Border - Mother's Day Greeting Card

INSIDE GREETING: Happy Mother’s Day!

This lovely border was originally made for a Buzza motto. The Buzza Company was founded by George Buzza in 1910 as a greeting card company, but in 1917, having a background in poster production, George expanded his offering to a line of small posters he called “Mottos.” Most of the art for these was created by George, himself. He aimed at a modern, clean and colorful style that was a departure from the heavily decorated Victorian style. This border seemed to us an appropriate setting for the heartfelt quote Debasish Mridha.
