Margaret Tarrant (1888-1959) was a distinguished English artist, nurtured in an artistic milieu as the daughter of Percy Tarrant. However, it was her enchanting book illustrations that truly catapulted her to fame. She's perhaps best known for her exquisite work on The Water Babies (1908), where her artistic prowess breathed life into the story's magical world.
